Why You Should Start Your Day With A Fresh Juice

Get your day off to a good start with healthy habits from the moment you wake up, starting your morning off with a healthy choice can prompt you to continue making the right food choices throughout the day.

Putting fresh fruits and veggies into your system will help you stay energized and avoid spiking your blood sugar levels. There are so many benefits to starting your day with a fresh juice:

  • Our bodies are able to absorb more of the nutrients from the fruits and vegetables that are juiced as the gut doesn’t need to digest all the fibre.

  • Juicing helps a lot with increasing your vegetable and fruit intake in the day as you are drinking in all the nutrients rather then having to eat them. A rule with most juices should be 80% vegetables and 20% fruit to minimize the amount of fructose.

  • Juicing also allows you to consume a wider range of vegetables, thus giving your body an increase in the amount of nutrients it receives on a daily basis.

  • Juicing helps feed the good bacteria in our gut. Keeping your gut healthy is so important. A third of our immune system is located in our digestive tract and vegetables are the best source of probiotics that increase the good bacteria in the gut.

  • Juicing can help fight cancer as well as help to reduce high cholesterol.

  • Juicing helps detoxify our bodies and lowers blood sugar levels.

  • One of my favorite benefits of juicing is that it is great for your skin. What we put in our bodies is so important as it has a huge impact on our skin. By juicing fruits and vegetables, our bodies are able to absorb more nutrients from green vegetables that are vital to improving skin health.
