Home Made Granola With Crunchy Buckwheat

This granola is so super tasty, it's full of amazing ingredients and is easy to make at home and is much more cost effective than buying store bought granola that is as healthy as this one.

There's a few key ingredients in this great granola such as buckwheat and the chia seeds. Buckwheat is a great source of fiber and is super rich in minerals and consuming buckwheat can lead to many health benefits such as improved blood sugar control and heart health. Chia seeds are an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids and are rich in antioxidants, fiber, iron and calcium.

I’ve always wanted to make granola and went ahead with it when I was doing our weekly shop and just couldn’t find any sugar free granola that seemed relatively healthy. When I got home I went into the cupboard and pulled out all sorts of ingredients. Even though I had never done it before I decided to experiment and threw all these bits together and popped it into the oven for a few moments. Once I allowed it to cool, I was absolutely delighted with the taste of mouthwatering rich deliciousness that had just been invented on this fine Sunday afternoon.

This recipe is oil free, refined sugar free and can be made gluten free by substituting the oats for certified gluten free oats.
