Peanut Butter Oat Cookies

Hello and thanks so much for visiting our site! These are delicious, crunchy and moist peanut butter cookies that are free from eggs, dairy and can easily be substituted for a healthier sugar. They are super simple and easy to make and the best part is that they are really quick! Pop them in the oven and enjoy a cup of tea while you wait a few minutes for these mouth watering bad boys to be ready. These Peanut butter oat cookies are one of my family's favourite especially when we need to take snacks on a trip as they are easy to make portable, just pop them in a tin or a small bag. Now lets get started!

You are going to need:

Mixing bowl

Measuring cup and spoons

Baking tray

Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients :

  • 200 grams oats

  • 300 grams peanutbutter

  • 250 grams sugar of your choice

  • 10ml vanilla essence.

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.

  • 1/4 cup water

  • pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Blend the oats until fine.

  3. Cream the peanut butter, sugar and vanilla essence(If the peanut butter is quiet heard,just warm is slightly and it should mix much better).

  4. Mix the oat flour,baking soda and salt with the creamed peanut butter.

  5. Add the water and mix until all the ingredients are well combined.

  6. Measure out 1 tablespoon of the dough per cookie and roll into a ball. Press down with your cookie press or just flatten with your hand into the shape you want and place on a greased baking tray.

  7. Bake for 14 minutes.

  8. Allow to cool and enjoy :)
