Over Night Banana Bread Oats


Hi guys and welcome back to Health Alignment, if this is your first time visiting us, welcome and I hope we can help with assisting you to make some delicious healthy meals. Over night oats are great for those that have rushed mornings or want a snack on the go. This recipe is a quick 5 minute throw together that leaves you with something so flavourful and delicious to enjoy the next morning. Whole oats are rich in antioxidants, contain plenty of fibre and can lower cholesterol levels and improve blood sugar control. So lets get started.

You are going to need:

  • A jar to put your oats in

  • Mixing spoon

  • Measuring cup and spoon

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 Cup plant based milk of your choice

  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1/8 Teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 Teaspoon mixed spice

  • 1 Banana sliced

  • Optional sweetener of choice such as maple syrup/agave.

Directions:

  1. Add all the dry ingredients into a glass jar and stir.

  2. Add the milk and mix in well.

  3. Top off with banana and place in the fridge over night or for 1 hour.
