Raw Basil Pasta


Hello and thanks so much for visiting our blog Health Alignment. Eating Raw is amazing for your body, often when we cook our veggies they can lose quite a lot of their nutrients, vital minerals and vitamins. Raw foods are often better quality and have a power house of dense nutrition. There are many case studies out there that show how eating raw can reverse and reduce the chance of chronic diseases as well as delay the ageing process. This dish is simple to prepare and doesn't require much time at all.

You are going to need:

  • A blender

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring spoons and cups

  • Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • 300g Zoodles (spiralized Zucchini's or baby marrows)

  • 2 Tablespoons dehulled buckwheat or pinenuts

  • 1 Handful of fresh basil (30-40 grams)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 Avocado

  • 5 cherry tomatoes

Directions:

  1. In a high speed blender blend the buckwheat, basil, lemon juice and salt and pepper until smooth.

  2. Place your zoodles in a bowl and massage them to make them soft and remove the excess water.

  3. Drain the Zoodles and pour the dressing over.

  4. Slice your avocado and tomatoes and spread over the salad and enjoy!
