Easy Vegan Milk Tart

An easy vegan Milk Tart recipe finally! This Vegan Milk Tart is so creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon in each mouthful.

You will need:

Pie tin


Measuring cups and spoon

Mixing bowl

45 minutes


Ingredients:For the Crust

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

  • 4 Tablespoons of coconut oi(not melted)

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3 tablespoons coconut sugar

Ingredients:For the filling

  • 2 cups of soya milk or any other dairy free milk

  • 3 heaped tablespoons corn flour or arrow root flour

  • 4 tablespoons agave or maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essance

  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Directions:For the crust

  1. Pre heat oven to 190°C.

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients. Transfer to the food processor and add the wet ingredients.

  3. Blend in food processor until dough forms.

  4. Flatten the dough into an oiled pie tin.

  5. Bake at 190°C for 15 minutes until lightly brown.

Directions:For the filling:

  1. Bring 1 and 1/2 cups of milk to boil with the cinnamon, agave and vanilla essence

  2. In a separate bowl mix the corn flour with the left over milk. Slowly add to the boiling milk mix and cook until thick and creamy.

  3. Pour into crust and place in fridge for 1 hour to set.
