Nuts and Bolts Smoothie

This Nuts and bolts smoothie is sure to crank up your energy and keep you feeling full and fuelled all morning long.

You will need:

Blender

Measuring spoons and cups

Time:5 Minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas (frozen is best for extra creaminess)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of peanut butter or nut butter of your choice

  • 10-15g on your favourite nuts

  • 1 teaspoon desiccated coconut

  • 2-3 pitted dates

  • 100-150 ml of water

  • 2 Ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Place all of your ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Add extra water to get your desired constancy.

  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy or turn it into a smoothie bowl and top with your favourite granola and fresh fruits.
