Protein Packed Brownies

These protein-packed brownies are the perfect sweet treat while keeping it healthy!

You will need:
  • Blender

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Baking tray

  • Time: 50 minutes


  • 1 cup of ground rolled oats

  • 3 heaped tablespoons of cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup of sweetener of your choice

  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

  • pinch of salt

  • 2/3 cup of water

  • 1/3 cup of coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

  • 1 cup of cooked chickpeas

  • 60 g of crushed walnuts


  1. Mix all your dry ingredients.

  2. Blend your chickpeas and water until smooth and then add your wet ingredients.

  3. Mix your dry and wet ingredients together.

  4. Pour into a baking tray and bake at 180 °C for 35-40 minutes.

  5. Top off with the 3 ingredient chocolate sauce (recipe here).
