Vegan Butter


Homemade vegan butter that tastes like the real deal without all the nasties and no odd apple cider vinegar taste!

You will need:

Blender

Measuring cups and spoons

Tub for the butter

Prep: 5 minutes

Set 3 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of aquafaba( Brine from a tin of chickpeas, butter beans etc)

  • 2 Tablespoons of soya lecithin granules ( found at most health stores)

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of salt or more depending on how salted you like your butter

  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup of soya milk

  • 3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Blend the aquafaba first.

  2. Then add the rest of your ingredients and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour the mixture in a tub and place in the freezer to set for 3 hours. Store in the refrigerator.
