Vegan French Toast


I'm so excited to share this vegan version of french toast that tastes like the real deal.

You will need:

Blender

Frying pan

Spatula

Measuring cups and spoons

Dish for dipping bread into the batter

10-15 minutes

Makes about 6 slices of french toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana

  • 1/4 cup of plant based milk

  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons of sweetener such as maple syrup, agave, coconut nectar

  • pinch of kala namak salt or just normal salt

  • Six slices of your favourite bread

Directions:

  1. Place all of your ingredients except the bread into a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. place your bread in a toaster and toast until the outside is slightly hard.

  3. heat up some coconut oil on medium heat in your frying pan and dunk the bread into the batter, covering both sides.

  4. Place the bread into the heated pan and cook for about 1-2 minutes until golden on each side.

  5. Serve with your favourite toppings such as berries, cinnamon and sugar, chocolate sauce and vegan ice cream!
