Soothing Aswagandha Drink


Ashwagandha is an incredibly healthy medicinal herb and is classified as an "adaptogen," meaning that it may help your body manage stress.

Ashwagandha also provides all sorts of other health benefits for your body as well as your brain such as:

  • Reduce blood sugar levels

  • Anti-Cancer properties

  • Reduce Cortisol Levels

  • May Improve Brain Function, Including Memory

  • May Reduce Symptoms of Depression

  • May Lower Cholesterol and Triglycerides

  • Boost Testosterone and Increase Fertility in Men

  • It May Increase Muscle Mass and Strength

  • May Reduce Inflammation

  • May help with acne

You will need:

  • Pot

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • 5 minutes

  • Makes 1 large cup or 2 smalls

Ingredients:

  • 1&1/2 cups milk (soy, almond, oat, coconut ect)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves

  • Dash of mixed spice

  • 1 tablespoon syrup or sweetener of choice

  • 1/2 teaspoon tahini (optional)

  • 1 Teaspoon of vanilla

  • 1/2 to 1 Teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder(found at most health stores)

Directions:

  1. Mix all of your ingredients together.

  2. Place the pot on the stove to heat up on medium heat and boil for about 1 minute.

  3. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
