I’ve been snacking on this granola all week!
This recipe is so quick and easy to make plus it is oil free and refined sugar-free too!
You will need:
Measuring cups and spoons
Prep 5-10 minutes
Bake 35-45 minutes
3 Cups of oats(rolled or normal)
1 Medium to large banana
5-6 Dates pitted
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup of your favourite nuts (I used hazelnuts and pecans)
1/2 cup of your favourite seeds(optional pumpkin, sunflower, flaxseeds)
1 cup of plant milk
2-3 tablespoons of liquid sweetener such as maple syrup(optional)
Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
Blend your dates, banana and milk until smooth.
In your mixing bowl add in all your dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Add in the liquid banana milk mix and sweetener.
Mix until the oats and covered.
Pour the mixture out onto your non stick or oiled baking tray.
Spread out evenly.
Place the tray in the oven to bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown turning the mixture halfway through.
Once the granola has turned golden, remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Once it has cooled break it up into the desired chunkiness.
