25-minute vegan scones 🍃



These delicious scones will go down so well with any tea time 🌿

Ingredients:

Dry:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder

  • 4 teaspoons of coconut sugar(I used @natureschoicesa )

  • Pinch of salt

Wet:

  • 3 tablespoon coconut oil not melted

  • 1 and 1/3 cup plant-based milk



Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and oil your tray.

  2. Add all your dry ingredients to your mixing bowl.

  3. Add in the coconut oil and mix it in using your hands.

  4. Add in the milk and knead the dough.

  5. Roll the dough out on a well-floured surface and using a glass cut out your scones. 🍃

  6. Continue until your dough is finished.

  7. Place in the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes.

  8. Enjoy with some vegan butter, jam, or whatever toppings you love 🌿I enjoyed mine with some apricot and strawberry jam from @natureschoicesa which is reduced in sugar 🌿
