Updated: Apr 14, 2022

I wanted to share the recipe straight away so here we go 🌱
Ingredients:
Dry:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup coconut sugar or sub brown sugar
Wet:
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon plant-based milk
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate sauce:
2 tablespoons coconut oil melted
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup or other sweeteners
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Salted caramel:
2 tablespoons coconut cream
2 tablespoons coconut sugar or maple syrup
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Directions:
1. Preheat your over to 180.
2. Mix together all your dry ingredients. Add in the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
3. Divide the dough into 9-10 balls.
4.Using a thick straw or lid of a piping bag or just your finger, piece a whole in the middle of the ball and shape the hole.
5. Place the doughnuts on an oiled baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
6.While they are baking start with the caramel sauce. Place all the ingredients into a pot on the stove and bring it to boil just for a couple of seconds until the sugar has dissolved.
7. Place the sauce into a bowl and place it in the freezer to rest while you prepare the Choc sauce.
8. Mix all the ingredients together until smooth for the chocolate sauce.
9.Once the doughnuts and finished baking allow cooling for a couple of minutes.
10. Dip them in the chocolate sauce and drizzle with the salted caramel. You can also sprinkle a bit of desiccated coconut on top to make them look extra delicious.
