Baked Vegan Doughnuts

Easy baked doughnuts perfect for Valentine’s Day 🌿


Ingredients:

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup of sugar of your choice

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 1/4 cups of water

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180 °C and spray your doughnut baking tray.

  • Mix together the dry ingredients and add in the wet.

  • Pour evenly into doughnut tray.

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes.

  • Allow to cool while you mix your icing.

  • For the white glaze mix 1/2 cup of icing sugar with 3 tablespoons of plant based milk.

  • For the red glaze mix 1/2 cup of icing sugar with 2 tablespoons of plant based milk and 1/2 a teaspoon of pink food coloring or 1 tablespoon of beetroot juice 🌸

  • Ice your cooled doughnuts and enjoy!
