Choc Chip Vegan Cookies

These Chocolate chip cookies are such an easy treat to make. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with gooey melted chocolate. They only take a handful of ingredients and a couple of minutes.

You will need:
Mixing bowl
Measuring cups and spoons
Baking tray
total time 25 minutes
Makes about 16 cookies depending on your size
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup of self-raising flour
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup butter
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup water or plant-based milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 slab chocolate ( I used midnight velvet becon)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 180 C°.
Mix together all the dry ingredients.
Using a Rowling pin, crush your slab of chocolate into smaller pieces.
Add the chocolate to the dry ingredient mix.
Then add in the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
You may need to sprinkle a little more flour depending on how wet your dough is but you want to be able to roll little balls.
Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball and place on an oiled baking tray.
Place in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes keeping an eye on them just turning slightly golden around the edges.
