Double Chocolate Vegan Flapjacks


These double cholate flapjacks are so good! As you slice them open all this delicious melted chocolate pours out in just the right amounts 🌿


Here’s the recipe


Dry:

  • 1 1/2 cups of cake flour

  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 50g dark chocolate chopped

Wet:

  • 1 cup of plant-based milk

  • 1/3 cup of water

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar


Toppings:

  • Maple syrup

  • 30 g of melted dark chocolate



Directions:

  1. Add the dry ingredients to your mixing bowl. In another small mixing bowl add in the wet ingredients and allow to sit for a minute before adding it to the dry ingredients.

  2. Mix until well combined.

  3. Place a splash of coconut oil on your pan and turn the heat to medium-high.

  4. Scoop one tablespoon of the mixture into the pan. Allow to cook for about 2 minutes before flipping and cooking a further minute on the other side.

  5. Continue until your battle has finished.

  6. Melt your chocolate and mix about a tablespoon of plantbased milk to thin down.

  7. Drizzle your flapjacks with chocolate and maple syrup and enjoy 🍃
