Easy 20 Minute Vegan Scones

These Vegan scones are the perfect tea time treat to make!

You will need:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Glass or cookie cutter

  • Time: 20 minutes

  • Makes about 12-15 scones


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar of choice

  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 heaped tablespoons vegan butter or coconut oil

  • 2/3 cup of soya milk

  • 1 Teaspoon apple cider vinegar


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Mix together all the dry ingredients.

  3. Add in the butter/coconut oil and break into the flour.

  4. Add the teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to the soya milk and let it stand for 2 minutes.

  5. Add the milk to the flour mix and stir until a dough forms.

  6. Roll your dough out about 1 cm thick onto a floured surface.

  7. Using a glass or cookie cutter, cut out your desired size scones.

  8. Place on an oiled baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes.
