Easy homemade bread in 1 hour tops.
You will need:
Measuring cups and spoons
Total time: 1 hour
Makes 2 loaves
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
1 sachet yeast (10g)
1 1/2 - 2 cups warm water
Combine all the dry ingredients.
Add in your first cup of water and mix. Slowly add in the rest of the water until you get to a smooth dough that you can knead.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes shiny. You may need some more flour here for your hands.
Divide the dough into two equal balls and roll them out into long rolls or whatever shape you like.
Coat a knife with some oil and slice along the roll. (See above Image 2)
Place on an oiled baking tray and allow to rise for about 15 to 25 minutes.
While your dough is rising, preheat your oven to 180°C.
Place the tray in the oven to bake for 20-25 minutes.
