No-bake Nut Butter Pie with Choc Chip Sprinkle

This no-bake Peanut Butter Pie was such a hit! It didn't last the afternoon at our house so I thought this is definitely a recipe worth sharing.


You will need:

  • Prep 30 minutes

  • Set time 1 hour

  • Pie tin or dish

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Oven

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup of sugar of your choice

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil melted

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • Pinch of salt

For the Filling:

  • 1 X Orle whip

  • 3 healed tablespoons of peanut butter or your favourite nut butter such as Oh mega

  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar

Topping:

  • 4-5 roughly crushed sugar-free Gullon choc chip biscuits( Found at Food Lovers Market)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.

  2. Start with the crust. Mix together all the dry ingredients and then add the wet ingredients and combine until a dough forms.

  3. Pre the dough evenly into your pie tin a from the crust.

  4. Place the tin in the oven to bake for about 15 minutes.

  5. while your crust is baking, using a hand mixing, whip up the ole whip until it is light a fluffy. Mix in the peanut butter ad coconut sugar.

  6. Place the bowl in the fridge.

  7. Once the crust has finished baking, allow it to cool until room temperature.

  8. Once the crust has cooled, pour the peanut butter filling into the crust and spread out evenly.

  9. Roughly break up for choc chip biscuits and sprinkle them on top of the pie.

  10. Place in the fridge for an hour or two to set and enjoy!
