This Peach cake is so easy to make, super soft and will make the perfect partner to any tea party.
You will need:
Measuring cups and spoons
1 hour 15 minutes
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup of oil (coconut or sunflower)
Syrup from a can peaches
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/5 cup of water
1 tin at sliced peaches in syrup
4 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Cream the sugar and oil.
In another mixing bowl add in the dry ingredients.
Pour your creamed sugar and the remaining wet ingredients including the syrup from the peaches but leave the actual peaches to the side for now.
Combine the wet and dry mix.
Pour half the mixture into your oiled cake tin.
Place the peach slices onto the first layer. Save 3-5 slices for the top.
Pour the remaining cake on top of the peaches and evenly spread the batter.
In a mixing bowl add in all your ingredients for the crumble and mix.
Sprinkle the crumble on top of the cake and place it in the oven for 1 hour to bake until a knife comes out clean when inserted into the cake.
