Strawberry And Peanut Butter Smoothie



World Plant Milk Day is on the 22nd of August and I want to share some everyday use on plant-based milk. One of my favorite ways to use alternative milks are in smoothies. They help create a delicious creamy texture. I’ve used the Unsweetened Almond Breeze Almond milk that can be found at your local Food Lovers Market.

To create the delicious strawberry smoothie that is perfect for breakfast pre and post work out or just a great snack to have on the go. This smoothie serves 2 and will only take you 5 minutes to make!


You will need the following:

Blender

Measuring cups and spoons

5 minutes

Serves 2



Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened almond breeze almond milk

1/4 cup oats( rolled/jungle oats or quick oats)

4 -5 strawberries(frozen or fresh)

1 tablespoon of peanut butter (optional)

1-2 pitted dates

6-8 ice cubes


Directions:

Place all your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
