I’ve seen lots of tiramisu oats but let me introduce you to vegan milk tart oats because this has been my favorite breakfast or even sweet snack 🌿
This makes two jars
For the crunchy oat layers:
1 cup of oats of choice
3 tablespoons of liquid sweetener
1 tablespoon of coconut or olive oil
Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
For the milk tart filling:
2 cups of soya milk
3-4 teaspoons of sweetener or choice
2 tablespoons of cornflour
Cinnamon for sprinkling
In your frying pan add in all the ingredients for your crunchy oats. Continue to stir until your oats are just slightly toasted.
Now onto your milktart filling.
Add in 1 cup of the soya milk to your pot with the sweetener and mix.
Mix the remaining cup of soya with the cornflour.
Once your milk in the pot has started to boil, add in the cornflour mix and stir until the mixture thickens.
Now to assemble. Scoop some crunchy oats into the jar and spoon in some milk tart filling. Repeat for two more layers and sprinkle with some cinnamon.
Place in the fridge to set for 30 minutes or overnight. Enjoy!
