Warm Maca Cinnamon Drink


Happy world Plant-Based milk day 🍃 I remember when I first went vegan almost 8 years ago and how hard it was just to find the Ma soy milk. Now we have over 80 different plant-based milk (thank you @provegza ) to choose from available in SA and it has just made life so much easier 🍃

I quickly whipped up this delicious Warm Maca Cinnamon Drink this morning to celebrate and thought I would quickly share this recipe. This makes 2 cups and here’s what you need 🌿



Ingredients

  • 2 cups plant-based milk I used @alpro sweetened soy milk

  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder (I got mine from @healthconnectionwholefoods)

  • 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • For topping

  • 1/3 teaspoon of almond butter(I used @ohmega_nutbutters)


Directions:

  1. Place your pot of milk on the stove at a medium to high heat. Mix in all your ingredients and heat through for about 3-5minutes.

  2. Pour into your mugs and top with a tiny drizzle of nut butter and maybe a little more cinnamon and you have yourself a delicious warm drink to enjoy 🍃
