Vegan "Mozzarella"


The easiest, creamiest vegan cheese. No nuts. No agar agar. No waiting. Perfect for pizza, pasta and grilled cheese sandwiches.

This cheese is:

Oil free

Nut free

Soy Free

Gluten free

What you will need:

Pot

Measuring cups and spoons

Mixing spoon

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tin of coconut cream

  • 2 Tablespoons of tapioca flour

  • 1 Heaped tablespoon of nutritional yeast(found at most health stores)

  • 2-3 Tablespoons of lemon juice

  • 1 Teaspoon of Italian herbs

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard of your choice or mustard powder

  • Big pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Mix all of the ingredients into your pot until everything is smooth and there is no lumps.

  2. Place the pot on the stove at medium heat and continue to stir the mixture until it thickens and starts to look like thick melted cheese(usually 3-5 minutes). Taste to make sure the tapioca flour has cooked through and does not have a flour taste or texture. Remove from heat.

  3. This cheese is great for pizza, pasta, toasted sandwiches, quesadillas and so much more.
