Ginger Oat Biscuits


Oil free, refined sugar free and super delicious! Such a quick and easy treat!

You will need:

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Baking Tray

  • Mixing bowl

  • 25 minutes total

Ingredients:

  • 1 & 1/2cups oat flour(Ground Oats)

  • 1/2 coconut sugar (or substitute brown sugar)

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • Salt

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • dash of cloves

  • dash of nut meg

  • Dash of mixed spice

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of tahini

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • 1/3 cup of water

Sauce:

  • 1&1/2 teaspoons of tahini

  • 1 teaspoon liquid sweeter(agave, maple or coconut syrup)

  • 1 teaspoon water

  • Dash mixed spice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Ground down your oats in a blender.

  3. in your mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.

  4. Add in the wet and mix.

  5. On an oiled baking tray dish up about 1/2-1 tablespoon of the cookie mixture onto the baking tray and press down using a fork. Repeat until dough is finished.

  6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until slightly golden.
