Under an hour vegan milktart


Protein 8g cals 200

At 200 calories a slice here’s what you need:

Ingredients:

  • 200g store brought dairy free puff pastry

  • 2 1/2 cups soya milk

  • 2/3 cup of light brown sugar

  • 3 heaped tablespoons of corn flour

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Cinnamon for dusting


Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and roll out your pastry nice and thin to fit your baking dish.

  2. Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.

  3. Once finished baking remove from the oven and start with the filling.

  4. Heat up 2 of the cups of soya milk saving the 1/2 a cup for the corn flour. Add in the brown sugar and bring to boil.

  5. Mix together the corn flour and remaining milk in a small bowl and add the mixture to your pot. Reduce heat and stir until thickened. Add in the vanilla.

  6. Pour into your crust. Dust with cinnamon and place in the fridge to set for a couple of minutes and enjoy!
