No Bake Trail Mix Bars


Naturally sweetened, no-bake homemade trail mix bars 🌱

You will need:

  • Blender

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • A square dish for the bars

  • Prep 5-10 minutes

  • Set time 2-4 hours

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of oats

  • 1 cup of raisins

  • 1/2 cup of your favourite nuts or seeds

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup of pitted dates soaked in 2/3 cup of boiling water

  • 1/3 cup of peanut butter

  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence

Directions:

  1. Soak your dates in the boiling water.

  2. In your blender add in the dates with the water, peanut butter and vanilla essence and blend until smooth.

  3. In the mixing bowl add the oats, raisins, nuts and dash of salt and mix everything through.

  4. Add your blended date mix to the mixing bowl and mix until well combined.

  5. Oil your square dish and transfer the mixture.

  6. Press the trail mix down firmly and even out the mixture.

  7. Place the dish in the fridge for a couple of hours to set.

  8. Remove from the fridge and slice into desired bar sizes.

  9. Store in the fridge.
