Best gluten free vegan peanut butter brownies

These brownies are what dreams are made of. They are so gooey and fudgy.


Ingredients:

Dry:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • Pinch of salt


Wet:

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup of oil of your choice

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1/4 cup of apple sauce


Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C and spray your small baking dish.

  2. In your mixing bowl add in your dry ingredients and mix.

  3. Add in the wet ingredients and combine.

  4. Place the mixture into your baking dish.

  5. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 170 and then reduce heat to 160 and bake for another 10-15 minutes until a knife comes out clean when inserted.

  6. These brownies are so gooey inside you want to give them a few minutes to cool before slicing in your dish and serving.

  7. You can add a drizzle of chocolate icing.


Chocolate icing recipe:

  • 1 heaped tablespoon of coconut oil melted

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder

Mix all together. Drizzle over your brownies and enjoy!
